Standing tall in the black of night,

Shining through as the sun fades, thick through the moon light.

Where have your bees and butterflies gone?

We're used to watching you canoodle with the sun

Back to their homes hidden deep and far away

Out of reach to bats and creatures who consider them prey

Could you be more beautiful at night?

We don't think of you often at the turn of the earth

With too many other distractions
