Celestial Sessions

Good morning. It's really early Thursday here where I am, as I type this, the sun has yet to rise. Calling the dawn of the day the sunrise was used back when our ancestors thought the earth was the center of the universe, there's a lot more going on there. The term still works as it does indeed rise in the sky. As it's more a meeting of sorts, maybe sessions would be more fitting. So instead of saying the sun has yet to "rise," I would say something along the lines of, our session with the sun has yet to begin. When it does, it's going to be a successful one, as it will be the high of 58 today and 64 this weekend, a bit s t r a n g e for December. I'm glad it's warmer, I have a cold and should really be under my covers but alas, I have a busy day ahead, so there's no rest for the wicked. I'm already two tea cups in, but today is calling for the big guns...
