Let The Celebrations Begin
Great morning on this eve of a very big celebration: the summer solstice, otherwise known as the birthday of the sun, June 21st, a.k.a. the first day of summer. To help us celebrate its birth, it will shine and keep the northern hemisphere illuminated longer than any other day of the year. This day was celebrated in ancient times and called Midsummer. In a past life, I'm pretty sure I was there in full kurmasana worship. To sit and imagine for a moment the planet in a tilt toward the sun, at its most northerly pole...holds a sense of wonder.
*Happy Birthday to the Sun*
Have a most fabulous solstice.
(Any lovers of spells, noon this Sunday is your best bet**)... xXxXxx #TGIF
