Clarity, Clarity, Clarity
Great morning to you on this fabulous Friday. I'm in an extra great mood today as my sister is here to visit me this weekend. Was it just me or did this week fly by? There were moments of stillness that I thought would never end however, such as when the subway decides to stop for a "track delay," when I'm already late for a meeting. When those unwanted moments come, I find myself thinking back to my yoga instructor's words: "Clear your mind, enjoy the quiet." This advice must work, if I was somewhat able to "enjoy" being trapped underneath the city, inside a box.
Ah yes, the craziness of the lives we live. We have to take it all with a grain of salt. I've had a lot on my mind these past few days and Friday is finally here, making it time to unwind and let it go. The time is now to wrap things up with work and leave them in a nice place for the Monday start. It's a time to let go of the long meetings, unanswered phone calls and energy draining stress. (If you didn't have any stress, consider yourself one of the lucky ones).
