You Are Beautiful
Good morning on this Martin Luther King day. It's a Holiday here in the states; however, some are going to be working, myself included. I'm not really feeling it right now, still groggy. The high from the Holidays has wore off and it's back to a plain old Monday morning. My poinsettias are still going strong, their red color is so beautiful, I'm surprised the lipstick companies haven't come out with one, "wear Christmas on your lips."
It's so early right now as I type this. I like the quiet at this hour and pitch darkness outside, it's very peaceful. Some people are putting on their workout gear and heading to the gym. I don't know if I'll ever graduate to that level of morning, that's impressive. I never thought I would see the day that I would become a "morning person," as I have always been a person of the night. Take that as you will, but I'm loving the mornings.
