The Omen Of The Blood Moon

Great morning to you. Friday is here, woowooo. I don't know about you, but I'm wiped out. I have a bad chest cold and laryngitis to top it all off. What do you have planned this weekend? Health dependent, I'd like to see some changing leaves. Did anyone catch the blood moon on Wednesday? It was a little cloudy here, but I could kind of see it. During the lunar eclipse, the sun's light scattered off of the Earth's atmosphere, causing the moon to look like the color of blood.

The eclipse was two of four, that will occur in a two year period, known as "tetrad." If you missed Wednesday's, you can catch it again on April 15th and September 28th of next year. Some Christians believe the tetrad is an omen, for the end of the times. Do do do do do do do do. They pull this theory partly from the Book of Joel, "the sun will turn into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes."

The Book of Revelations, is the final book in the new testament, about the "end times." In it, the author is sited as "John;" however, we can't say for sure if this is John, as in the disciple of Christ. From my studies of this book, the revelation's premise is that the Lord will unleash the devil onto earth, followed by mass destruction. Those who believe in the Lord will be saved and live forever on a paradise on earth, sans the devil. The only problem with this is that, if it does happen, wouldn't it create over population of the earth? Or maybe not?

What about the prayers I memorized in Catholic school and have said hundreds of times... "thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." And yet another,..."he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end...We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come." Amen.

It's no secret Christians believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ, but could this theory be coming true soon, given the tetrad? If the sign is the blood moons; then I don't think so, because other tetrad's have occurred in the history of mankind...and we're still here.

Your thoughts?

do do do do do do do do

Have a fabulous weekend **
