Heads Up NYC Visitors
People love to vacation in New York City, as it's a great place with lots of things to do. While it's a city known for fun, there are obstacles with which to deal, when visiting. So, I'd like to help by giving some simple advice so your NYC experience will be more enjoyable...
Number 1:
When planning for a day of shopping, leave the heels at the hotel. I see it everyday, fabulously dressed up women (and men) walking around New York in tall, tall heels. They look good; but I'm sure they're miserable in those things. I would love to know if a pair of heels exist, that are comfortable to walk around in, for more than an hour. At night the problem is easily solved, drink a beer and it kills the pain (lolol).
With all the sidewalk cracks, subway gratings, garbage, streets that are under construction and lord knows whatever else, your heels will get destroyed anyway. After about ten blocks, it'll be a wrap. Why worry about the pain or the safety of your shoe, when you can wear flats? They're in this season anyway....
