It's The Season Of The Witch

Good morning. Mondays are a slow start. It is so hard to transition from the weekend to a Monday, isn't it? In my next life, I must take Mondays off. Who knows, maybe there is an afterlife, maybe there's not. We will never know until the day comes. For now, we have this life to live and life is only ever right now.

If you didn't do much "summer" this season, today is your last day to get out there and sneak it in. At 10:29 p.m., the autumnal equinox brings fall to the Northern Hemisphere. During the fall and spring equinoxes, the Sun crosses the celestial equator. This means it begins to get colder and the nights get longer. The sun will eventually set around 4 p.m. in the New York (eeek). The fall also brings the most beautiful display of nature as the leaves turn.

Alas, we will still see summer weather into October, even until the end of October and some flowers will still bloom. Fall really does bring the most beautiful weather of all year. Hot days, cold days, cool days, warm days, it'll be a mixed bag. I got inspired by looking at some fashion magazines this past weekend. I'm looking forward to wearing leather jackets, chuck taylors, wool scarfs and I'm so happy flats are in this season - hail to the fashion gods for that one.
