Recognizing Cory Remsburg

Staff Sergeant, #CoryRemsburg, is a #warhero who was wounded by a roadside bomb in #Afghanistan and in a coma for three months. Today is he is blind in one eye and undergoing continuous physical therapy. 

His most inspirational message: "My recovery has not been easy, nothing in life that's worth anything is easy." He has been awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart and received a standing ovation from the President and all members of Congress at #SOTU2014.
